After many years, Sami Yusuf, one of the most influential figures in world music, returns to Istanbul for a spectacular concert at Yenikapı. This unforgettable night marks the world premiere of his highly anticipated new album Ecstasy, performed live for the first time.

With a grand ensemble and breathtaking stage design, Ecstasy: Between Two Seas blends tradition and modernity, East and West, in a musical celebration of love, culture, and connection. Inspired by the spirit of Istanbul and the legacy of Turkish music, the concert will echo with the voices of Yunus Emre and Nesimi, and the sound of Turkish maqams rising to the stars.

Sami Yusuf (born 21 July 1980 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian–British singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer, and humanitarian. He gained international recognition with his 2003 debut album Al‑Mu’allim, released through Awakening Records, which sold millions across the Middle East and beyond ‍. Known for his unique musical style dubbed “Spiritique”—a blend of spiritual and world music combining Sufi, folk, and Western elements—he sings in multiple languages including English, Arabic, Turkish, Urdu, Persian, Punjabi, and Azerbaijani . In 2014, he was appointed United Nations Global Ambassador for the World Food Programme due to his notable humanitarian work.
