Boris Brejcha (born November 26, 1981) is a German DJ, record producer, and the creator of the High-Tech Minimal genre. Born in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany, he is one of the world's most recognizable electronic music artists, famous for his signature Joker mask inspired by the Carnival of Venice.
Boris began producing electronic music at the age of 12 after discovering techno through a Thunderdome compilation. He released his first tracks in 2006 and quickly gained international recognition following his debut performance at Brazil's Universo Paralello Festival. In 2015, he founded his own record label, FCKNG SERIOUS, giving him complete creative freedom to develop his unique sound.
Known for performing only his own productions during live sets, Boris has headlined major festivals including Tomorrowland, Coachella, Time Warp, and Cercle. His performances at Cercle and Tomorrowland have accumulated hundreds of millions of YouTube views, making him one of the most-streamed electronic artists worldwide.
