Ash (real name: Ashraf Moawad) is a Cairo-born, Montréal-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer.
He blends electronic music with organic instruments such as piano, guitar, saxophone, and percussion, creating a cinematic and emotional sound.
Ash gained global recognition with his track Mosaïque (2016), which went viral after his performance at the Great Pyramids of Giza.
His music has surpassed 1 billion streams, and he has built a strong global audience through a unique fusion of Middle Eastern, electronic, and world music elements.
In 2024, he released his debut album Self-Discovery and performed a major show at the pyramids, marking a key milestone in his career.
